Since our founding in 2017, Child of the Redwoods has worked with tens of thousands of parents from across the globe.

We’re extremely honored to welcome members come from so many places.

The diversity of our members runs far deeper than geography. Some were already deeply in tune with Montessori education. Others were brought to homeschooling — at first reluctantly — because of life events.

Among the thousands of current members, we have full-time homeschoolers, part-time homeschoolers, military parents, former teachers, homesteaders, religiously observant families, parents working full-time outside the house, and parents who send their kids to schools.

Whatever your specific circumstances, we’re certain you’ll find someone who’s walked a similar path.

More importantly, though, regardless of our differences, we are all unified by a desire to bring Montessori to life in our homes and thankful to walk the path with others. That’s why community is one of Child of the Redwoods’ central pillars. It’s also what makes us different from plug-and-play curriculums.

As Maria Montessori teaches, “We shall walk together on this path of life, for all things are part of the universe and are connected with each other to form one whole unity.

From time to time, we invite members of our community to share more about their Montessori homeschooling journey. If you’re wondering what Montessori can look like in your home or how to create a sustainable rhythm and routine, please take a moment to meet just a few of the incredible parents who have enrolled in our programs. They have so much goodness to share with you!
