One Family. Different Ages. A Shared Learning Life.
Homeschooling multiple ages can feel like trying to read three books at once while someone asks for a snack and another person announces that water is coming out of the bathroom.
You love the idea of learning together. You may simply be unsure how to make it work without preparing a completely separate education for every child.
Montessori was designed with mixed ages in mind.
Children do not all need to complete the same lesson in the same way. They can explore a shared idea from different developmental levels. A younger child may sort, name, match, or move. An older child may research, calculate, write, compare, or create.
