I’ll be sending you all the details via email.

Dear Parent,

You can have a wonderful curriculum, beautiful materials, and a thoughtful plan, and still find yourself wondering, Am I doing this right? In The Prepared Guide, we’re going to talk about that less visible part of Montessori homeschooling: preparing ourselves.

We’ll explore how observation can help you better understand your child, how Montessori principles can guide you through questions about concentration, resistance, readiness, correction, and progress, and why becoming a confident guide doesn’t mean always knowing exactly what to do.

My hope is that you leave with a different idea of what it means to be “prepared.” You don’t need to become a Montessori expert before you begin, and you certainly don’t need to handle every homeschool moment perfectly. Preparation is something we practice.

We observe, learn, try, adjust, and gradually become more capable of making thoughtful decisions for the child right in front of us. Your child is going to grow this year. You get to grow, too.

With love,
Aubrey
